University of East Anglia – Earlham Hall

Sotham Engineering Services Ltd is pleased to have completed the refurbishment of the 16th century Earlham Hall at the UEA.  Home to the School of Law, Earlham Hall is a unique building which has taken 2 years of work to refurbish whilst in close liaison with Kier and RHP Architects. Sotham Engineering Services Ltd are pleased to be working with Pentaco as the main contractor for Broadland District Council to provide a training Centre for young and jobless trainee’s between the ages of 19 and 24 years of age. The BCTS “Our House” initiative is renovating a run-down, seven-bedroom house near Norwich which sits in five acres of grounds. It was originally built in 1923 and was originally the home of the superintendent at Hellesdon Hospital and his family. Sotham Engineering Services Ltd are pleased to be working in close conjunction with the main contractor Kier and LSI Architects in producing a new University Technical College for Norwich. The college will accommodate around 700 students from the age of 14 to 19 years when in full swing.
