Sotham Engineering Services Ltd is pleased to have completed the refurbishment of the 16th century Earlham Hall at the UEA.  Home to the School of Law, Earlham Hall is a unique building which has taken 2 years of work to refurbish whilst in close liaison with Kier and RHP Architects.

The building has undergone structural works with a full refurbishment to now combine the old detailed architectural features retained and new fully refurbished M&E systems.  These comprise new district heating mains fed from the UEA’s own district system and incorporated the original fully refurbished radiators on new stainless steel heating pipe work.  All new plumbing and Sanitaryware was also provided with a full rewire to lighting, power, fire, security and data systems the building is now set to function for many, many years to come.
