Wherry School, Norwich

Wherry School is a purpose built special school for up to 100 pupils aged 4–19 with a diagnosis of autism and a wide range of abilities, all of whom have an Education Health and Care Plan. Specialist classrooms and considerations were needed when designing the services. As well as all the normal school facilities, the installation carefully considered lighting levels, colours and specialist teaching aids, as well as noise interference from plant and noise transfer from outside, that would have detrimental effect on the education of autistic children.
